Let Peace Rule Your Heart | Accepted in the Beloved
I am compelled to share this message with you right now. I sense the prompting of the Holy Spirit to speak peace over you. My prayer is that as you read, you will sense His presence and know that He has a purpose for your life, to empower you with His strength. May your heart be open, receptive, and touched by the tangible nearness of God.
The Call to Live in Peace
As you read these words, remember this: you are not alone. The Holy Spirit is with you, offering truth, revelation, strength, comfort, and clarity. If you long for His presence but feel distant, invite Him into your space right now. He longs for you to hear His voice and rest in His peace.
God is urging us to operate from a deeper place of peace. In a world that feels darker and heavier each day, this is not optional — it is essential. The peace that surpasses understanding is powerful enough to govern our lives. Scripture instructs us:
📖 “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.”(Colossians 3:15)
Fear or Peace?
Without realizing it, many of us allow fear to dictate our decisions and shape our emotions. The Bible tells us, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Without God’s peace guiding us, our hearts naturally drift toward negativity and fear.
I know this firsthand. Fear preyed on every place where my faith was weak. It tried to extinguish my flame of belief and steal my trust in God’s goodness. But that is not God’s will for us.
There is a throne in your heart, and where there is rule, there must be a ruler. Jesus longs to sit on that throne, and when He does, His peace reigns. The government of peace rests on His shoulders.

What Living in Peace Looks Like
When fear tells you to hold on to unforgiveness, peace calls you to release it and trust that God will bring justice.
When fear says you must fight in your own strength, peace reminds you that God Himself fights for you.
When fear whispers you are not strong enough, peace brings Isaiah 40:31 to life and renews your strength.
When fear insists your loved ones are too far gone, peace reassures you that God’s arm is never too short to save.
When fear warns of scarcity, peace reminds you that His grace is sufficient for every need.
So let me ask: are you making decisions from fear or from faith? Are you living as a child of God, remembering that His Spirit lives in you, that you are a co-heir with Christ, and that He works all things together for your good?
The Peace of Jesus
At the end of the day, something will rule your heart. Will it be fear, or will it be peace? God longs for it to be His peace, the peace Jesus made available through His sacrifice.
This peace is not ordinary. It is the very peace of Jesus Himself. The same peace that carried Him through betrayal, through trial, through the cross, that peace is offered to you today.
📖 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)
A Personal Testimony
Since I was eight years old, I have prayed one prayer that has never gone unanswered: “Father, give me peace in Jesus’ name.” Every single time, His peace has flooded my soul.
I encourage you to pray that prayer, believe, and receive the peace of Jesus. It is enough to carry you through anything.
Remember this: if there is no peace, do not move forward. Someone needs that reminder today. Every “no” from God that came with a lack of peace has always been for my protection. Looking back, I see how stopping when I had no peace spared me from pain I could not see at the time. His way is always better. His plans are always best.
Conclusion
Let His peace rule your heart today. Invite Him to sit on the throne of your heart. Rest in His goodness, trust His leading, and let peace govern your steps.
