Our Children Prayed, We Burned the Ships, We Chose Faith
There are moments in life when you have to decide there is no going back. No retreat. No safety net. You step into faith and burn the ships behind you.
That’s what our family did. We prayed. Our children prayed. And together, we chose faith over fear. It wasn’t easy. In fact, it was terrifying at times. But we knew we couldn’t cling to the old way of life and still step fully into what God had for us.

Faith requires risk. It demands surrender. It asks us to step into the unknown, believing that God is already there making a way. When we burned the ships, we were saying to God, “We trust You completely.” And He met us in that place with provision and peace.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do for your family is lead them into radical obedience. Even if it’s scary. Even if it doesn’t make sense.
Maybe today, God is asking you to burn the ships. If so, step forward with courage and trust that He will guide your every step. And if you know someone facing a big leap of faith, send them this encouragement today.
